Michel is a qualified jeweller with over 40 years of experience in handmade & restoration of antique jewellery & gallery pieces. Michel has mastered the manufacturing copies of museum pieces and the art of traditional filigree techniques, a rare craft that few can do.   Michel opened the original Michel’s Jewellery store in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983 while maintaining his work connections in Cyprus. In 2000 Michel moved with his wife and children to one of Australia’s most recognisable cities, Melbourne. In Australia Michel worked for reputable jewellers and was able to combine modern Western designs with his experience in traditional techniques from Lebanon, the perfect appeal for all customers. After building a name for himself, Michel was ready to reopen Michel’s Jewellery’s doors to the Bendigo community in 2008.
